M&M Q2 net up 22% to Rs 902 crore

Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) on Thursday reported a 22 per cent growth rise in the net profit to Rs 901.80 crore for the second quarter ended September 2012 from Rs 737.38 crore in the comparable quarter last fiscal.

During the quarter, M&M’s total income was Rs 10,135.85 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012, whereas the same was at Rs 7,604.80 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011, showing a growth of 33.38 per cent.

Net sales of M&M grew 33 per cent to Rs 9,659.20 crore from Rs 7,244.30 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
