Cab driver done to death

 A 22-year-old youth, studying II PU in an evening college, was stabbed to death by unidentified men near Ulsoor Lake on Tuesday.

According to police, Dominic Savio, a cab driver and student of RBANMS Evening College in Ulsoor, was attacked by a gang of unidentified assailants armed with machetes and knives, while he was on the way to college.

Soon he collapsed in a pool of blood and was rushed to a hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. The body was shifted to Bowring Hospital where post mortem will be conducted on Wednesday.

Savio was a resident of Jai Bharath Nagar. His father, Seesam, also works as a cab driver with Vimochana, a non-governmental organisation. Police said Savio was in love with a girl from the neighbourhood, had a scuffle with boys from the area over the affair and this could have led to the murder.
