DAC weekend meets

The 24th Weekend Athletic Meets conducted by Deccan Athletic Club and sponsored by Deccan Herald and Prajavani will be held on December 9, 16, 23 and 30 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

Competitions will be held for  boys (U-13 and U-16) and girls (U-12 and U-15). The meet is open only to the school students of Bangalore and the entry is free. All those who compete in the opening week are eligible to participate in the other three weeks.

The top three in each event will receive a crash prize of Rs 800, Rs 500 and Rs 300 besides medals and certificates.
