Awan allies with Japanese AV firm TOA

As per the new tie-up Awan will be the only authorised dealer of TOA audio and video products in India.

“We are happy for assocaiting with a brand like TOA. We will intially distribuite TOA products in South India and later look at expanding our reach to all parts of the country,” Awan Founder & Business Head Prasad said.

For TOA the new pact will help to tap the huge oppurtunity in India. Through this relationship the company is re-entering the Indian market. Earlier the company had to wind up its Indian operation due to huge import duty.

“The Indian market offers as a huge growth oppurtunity, and we where looking for a partner to enter and reach the Indian market,” TOA Corporation Manger Product Marketing Kaz Shimizu Eng said.

Apart from from TOA products, Awan also deals in all global audio/video brands for home as well as for commercial use.
