Diwali extravaganza

To usher in the festival of lights, Diwali, the Karnataka Kayastha Sabha will be hosting a cultural extravaganza in Bangalore on October 11. The event, which is open to all, will be packed with fanfare and shall have a host of cultural and social activities. The events will start from 5.30 pm onwards at the HAL Convention Hall, Old Airport Road (next to Aerospace Museum).

Sojourn with novel
Short story writer Madhulika Liddle will launch her first novel, The Englishman's Cameo on October 14 at Reliance TimeOut,Cunnigham Road. Madhulika will be in conversation with Zach'O Yeah, noted author.

Madhulika has been dabbling in writing throughout her growing years and is adept at writing short stories in a variety of genres from humour and horror to romance and crime. She is the owner of a proud share of awards including  the Commonwealth short story competition.
