<p>District sessions court has sentenced 12 accused in the murder of municipal council member and rowdy-sheeter Jadeja Ravi to life imprisonment.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Sessions court judge A S Bellunki awarded life imprisonment to Ashok alias Pai, Cheeranahalli Chetan, Shivanna, S Manjunath alias Dil Manju, G Chetan, Boregowda, Gandhinagar Chethu, Cheeranhalli Kumar, Kumar alias Don Kumar, Hampaapura Mahesh, Sunilkumar alias Karate Suni and K Kirankumar alias Kole Kiran.<br /><br />Among the 32 accused, one was acquitted due to lack of evidence. <br /><br />Among the accused, Puttaraju is still absconding, while the remaining accused were released owing to lack of evidence, said additional public prosecutor, K G Mucchandi.<br /><br />Jadeja Ravi was murdered near Yadiyur Circle in Mandya on Dec 7, 2007. The murder had rocked the district.<br /></p>
