Plaint against former BDA commissioner

 A complaint has been lodged in the Lokayukta court against former Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) commissioner, Siddaiah, former Bangalore Urban Deputy Commissioner M A Sadiq, Special DC, Ramegowda, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies and the Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies for allowing the encroachment of seven-and-a-half acres of government land by the National Technological Institutions Housing Co-operative Society Limited (NTI HBCS).

According to the complaint, in 2010, the BDA had allegedly sold two acres of land earmarked for CA sites in Kodihalli, Kodigehalli and Byatrayanapura villages to NTI for the formation and sale of sites. Further, it was claimed that the BDA had allowed the formation of sites on land measuring 28 guntas, meant for construction of a park.
