Jaffer and Mukund demolished Greens’ bowling attack in their record  Challenger Trophy partnership of 265 runs helping the Red’s to 351 for two in their allotted 50 overs.
Jaffer top-scored with 143 runs (143b, 4x17, 6x1) and Mukund continued his amazing run of form with 114 (123b, 4x9, 6x1) as Red knocked the opposing bowlers around.

Mukund and Jaffer played out the first four overs quietly. In the fifth, bowled by Vikramjeet Malik, they took 18 and increased the rate from there on. Kulkarni lost his line hereon and Jaffer went on to cross his half-century off off 59 balls. Mukund's half-century came up off 71 balls.
