Film-maker Anurag Basu says the script of his film on late singer-actor Kishore Kumar is complete and an announcement will be made about it soon. Anurag’s film on Kishore Kumar, which has been much talked about in the film fraternity, will feature Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
The actor worked with the director in Barfi! this year as well. “We (Anurag and Ranbir) are both committed and very soon, you will hear the announcement from us, about when we are going to start that film,” Anurag says.
However, he admits that many details about the project are yet to be finalised. “After Barfi!, I was working on that film. The script has been completed now,” he adds.
Anurag admits that he feels after the industry has lost so many stars this year, it is now the current generation’s responsibility to carry the baton. “The year 2012 has been a mix of good and bad,” he states.
