NR Pura to get a sub-station soon

District-in-Charge Minister D N Jeevraj  said that Mescom sub -station at N R pura will be inaugurated shortly.

Speaking at the inauguration of various development work at Nagalapura, Bale, Menasoor, Honnekoodige gram panchayat limits, he said that road from B H Kaimara to Sunkadakatte has been widened and the asphlatation of the road will be completed by the month end. He said that the work on traffic circle at B H Kaimara and Menasoor will be taken up. An auto stand is likely to come up at B H Kaimara.

Stating that 50 lakh fake ration cards have been traced in the State, he said that measures will be taken to distribute permanent ration cards for the BPL families. Biometric system will be implemented in Sringeri constituency, to check malpractice in the distribution of food grains at the ration shops.

He said that complaint filed against him alleging irregularities in the Bagar Hukum Committee, headed by him is politically motivated. “I have not givencultivation slips (saguvali chits) to anyone. I belive in the judiciary system of the country,” he added. TP President J G Nagaraj presided.
