<p>The body of a missing man was found dead under mysterious circumstances, at Permude, on the outskirts of Surathkal on Saturday night. <br /><br /></p>.<p>According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Girish Putran (50), an active member of JD(S) and president of JD(S) Hoige Bazar Fisheries wing.<br /><br />He had gone missing on Friday. His family members had lodged a missing complaint with Pandeshwar police station, after searching for him for an entire day. <br /><br />The body of Putran was first noticed by patrolling police, who confirmed the identity with the help of his friends and family members.<br /><br />Police are suspecting that some miscreants might have murdered him after looting money and gold from him. There were injuries on his body. <br /></p>
