Two die in separate accidents

A Sudanese man was among two persons who were killed in separate road accidents in Yelahanka and Yeshwantpur on Wednesday.

Hassan, 18, died after an autorickshaw hit his bike on Doddaballapur Road near Yelahanka. The deceased was residing in Kenchanahalli and was pursuing bachelor’s degree in a private college. On Wednesday, around 9.30 am, he was riding his two-wheeler when a speeding autorickshaw rammed his bike. The deceased could not control the bike and fell down. Passersby rushed him to a nearby hospital.

But the doctors declared him brought dead as he had suffered severe injuries on the face. The driver of the autorickshaw Manjunath has been arrested and the vehicle has been seized.

Vegetable vendor

A 42-year-old vegetable-seller was mowed down by an unidentified vehicle at FTI Circle on Outer Ring Road near Yeshwantpur. The deceased has been identified as K V Srinivas, a resident of Bagalakunte. He owned a vegetable shop in RMC yard, police said.

Around 5.30 am, he was on his way on his two-wheeler to the RMC yard. He was crossing the junction near FTI Circle, when the accident occurred.

After some time, a few passersby noticed him lying in a pool of blood. They shifted him to a nearby private hospital, but he was declared brought dead.
