Shriya Saran is full of praise for Deepa Mehta, the director of her upcoming film, ‘Midnight’s Children’, where she dons the role of Parvati the Witch.

The talented actress admits that being part of ‘Midnight’s Children’ gave her an opportunity to learn the spirit of the gifted director.

Shriya says, “As an actor, what I have really learnt from her is to believe in yourself and to go beyond what you think you just can’t achieve. Whenever she comes on the sets, she gives you a beautiful hug. She gives you a lot of freedom as an actor, but also expects a lot of work and knows exactly how to get it from you. She has this great
madness and magic and I just simply love her spirit.”
