A total of 96 patients from Ramagondanahalli village near Yelahanka attended a free health camp organised by the Palike at the village on Thursday.
Dr Vijay Kumar S Biradar, Deputy Health Officer, Yelahanka zone and other doctors conducted the camp. The health inspectors educated children on ways to combat communicable diseases. Besides, pamphlets were distributed.
At the camp, a demo on fogging, one of the effective methods to check mosquito menace, was held.
On the occasion, school teachers were asked to conduct essay competition on communicable diseases and measures to prevent them so as to educate children.
