The number of fellowship offered is two, till the completion of the project with a consolidated salary amount of Rs 8,000 per month.
The duration of the project is five years and the requisite qualifications are MA in History with Diploma or specialisation in environmental studies and MA in History with specialisation in socio-economic history of modern India.
Candidates applying for the above posts should have a minimum of 55 percent marks in MA, 50 percent for SC/ST/PH or M Phil in History.
Candidates with sound knowledge of English and Kannada is desirable and the age limit is 40 years at the time of appointment.
The fellowship is purely temporary, and the candidate will continue to work till the completion of the SAP programme.
