Ramkumar pips Kirrtane

Local favo­urite Saurav Sukul remained the only seeded player left in the fray in the men’s singles as second seed Nitten Kirrtane and fifth seed Abhijit Tiwari were ousted in the quarters on a day of upsets at the National Grasscourt tennis championships here on Thursday.

Ramkumar Ramanathan from TN ousted Kirrtane 6-3, 6-4.
