JOIN USMantri Square mall at Malleswaram recently celebrated its third anniversary, ‘Fundango’, with much fanfare.
The celebrations will continue till April 7 and all the stores in the mall will
host fun activities like make-over sessions, games for children and a gadget week for the gizmo freaks, apart from displaying their latest collections.
The festival was inaugurated with the traditional cake-cutting ceremony.
Jonathan Yach, CEO, Propcare Mall Management, says that unlike last year, this year the celebrations will be bigger and better.
“This year the theme is ‘Fantasy Wonderland’ because it’s not just an achievement for the mall but for our shoppers as well. We did notice how people here like to win things, be it through games or discounts. So we have planned the coming days in such a way that there is something for everyone,” he added.
There will also be games like ‘Ring on the Cake’, ‘Bouncing Castle’, ‘Golden Egg’, basketball and much more.
Also, customers who will shop for more than Rs 3,000 at any of the stores at the
mall during these weeks, will get a chance to fill a contest coupon and win prizes through scratch cards.
And keeping the theme in mind, the shoppers will spot fairies, dancing bees, witches, elves and many more fantasy characters greeting them.
The evening saw a fashion show choreographed by Rahul Dev Shetty.
It had some classy outfits from brands like Marks and Spencers, Shoppers Stop, Laven, Inmark etc.
From traditional outfits to modern ones, the show highlighted what’s in store for the shoppers around.
Grishma, a regular visitor at the mall, expressed her delight at the mall turning three.
“The mall has really changed the face of Malleswaram. Earlier, we had to go all the way to MG Road to shop, but ever since the Mantri Square mall has come up, it has become a big place to hang out for many of us,” Grishma added.
