You alone do not need us but we too need manufacturers like you, so I prefer calling you partners because without you we cannot think of providing good quality,” the CMD said at a function to bestow Best Manufacturer Awards Function, here on Friday.<br /><br />Goyal said that the award will certainly encourage its vendors to manufacture quality products. Quality is a must in the present day market and this step of giving awards would encourage people, he noted while disclosing that the number of award categories will be increased from the present five. <br /><br />The awards were given under five categories by the Quality Assurance Circle of the BSNL to encourage its vendors to manufacture quality products. He assured the manufacturers that he would see to it that payments are given to them well in time without any delay.<br /><br />The awards were given under the category of Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery, Switched Mode Power Supply Power Plant, Two Way Speaker Clip Feature Phone, Optical Fibre Cable and PLB HDPE Pipe. From each category, two manufacturers were chosen. Interestingly none of the manufacturers awarded on Friday were from Karnataka.</p>
