<p>Janata Dal (S) State unit president H D Kumaraswamy claimed that the upcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka was crucial as it would decide the prospects of the formation of the Third Front at the national level.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Speaking to mediapersons after paying abeyance at the Ajmer Dargah here on Tuesday, former chief minister of Karnataka said: “People of the country are fed up with the two national parties— the Congress and the BJP. The Third Front can be a reality, if only the regional parties come out with a strong conviction and offer a credible developmental agenda to the people.”<br /><br />To a query on the future of Karnataka Janata Paksha, a party floated by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, he said the KJP would be wiped out in the Assembly elections.<br /><br />He added that the JD(S) would contest in all the 224 Assembly constituencies in the State. The list of nominees has been finalised and it would be announced shortly, he said.</p>
