K Subbarao (Revenue department), Babu Devadiga (Karnataka Polytechnic, Mangalore), Prakash Nayak (an employee in the court), Gopalkrishna (First Grade Assistant), B Nanda Kumar (Commercial Tax Department), Balakrishna Suvarna (Commercial Tax Department), Stany D’Souza (PWD), Niranjan Murthy (First Grade Assistant), Madhusudhan (Wenlock Hospital), Dayananda (Tahshildar’s driver), Vittal (TB hospital employee), Sunanda B (Nurse) and Shivappa (Agriculture Department) will contest in the election.
