<p> A ‘technical glitch’ has led to the postponement of Girish Kasaravalli’s award-winning film Kurmavataara’s scheduled release in Bangalore on Friday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Cinema lovers across the City were a disappointed lot after Deccan Herald, in its review of the film on Saturday, had mentioned that the film was releasing on March 29, Friday, as scheduled.<br /><br />“I called up all the multiplexes in the City and was informed that the film was not being screened. I was disappointed,” said Sanjay, an MTech student.<br /><br />It is learnt that the film was supposed to be released in three multiplexes apart from a few single screens that beam movies via satellite. While the makers had adapted “Kurmavataara” into one format, the theatres had a different format, rendering the screening impossible. A meeting held to solve the impasse was successful, with the theatres assuring the producers of correcting the ‘glitches’ soon.</p>
