<p>Left parties have decided to come together on a common platform to fight the Assembly elections in State.</p>.<p> The CPM will contest in 18 constituencies across the State, and join hands with Communist Party of India (CPI), Sarvodaya Party and Loksatta Party, providing ‘alternative’ platform for voters.<br /><br />“We will contest from 18 constitutencies and have finalised our list of candidates. Following the decision to join hands with other Left parties and like-minded outfits, the CPM will try to have a pre-poll alliance for contesting across the State,” said CPM State Secretary G N Nagaraj. <br /><br />In Bangalore, CPM will look to contest from KR Puram and Anekal seats, where the party has a cadre base. </p>
