<p>A house was damaged by an elephant at Kanakanahalli near here on Friday morning.<br /><br /></p>.<p>An elephant strayed into the village and was found near the house of Shivanayaka under N Begur range forest.<br /><br /> When the attempts by the occupants of the house to drive away the elephant failed, they locked themselves inside.<br /><br /> Learning about the incident, the villagers informed the forest department personnel. It was driven into the forest later. <br /><br />Assistant conservator of forest Karikalan, range forest officers Chikkarajendra and Nataraju visited the spot.<br /></p>
