Commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland (ALL) reported 13.8 per cent fall in April 2013 sales at 7,487 units, compared to 8,686 units in April 2012.
The fall was 19 per cent, if sales of small commercial vehicles DOST were not factored in, according to its filing with the exchanges. Sales of its small commercial vehicle DOST almost remained flat in April 2013 at 2,236 units as against 2,218 units sold in the same month last year, while other vehicle sales declined to 5,251 units in April 2013 compared to 6,468 units in April 2012.
