<p>Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president G Parameshwara on Monday said the BJP and other parties’ claims of fractured mandate are only hypothetical. <br /><br /></p>.<p>He said the Congress would emerge as the single largest party in the fray and has every chance of forming the government. <br /><br />Parameshwara said there was no scope for fractured mandate as people in the State were desperate for a change. <br /><br />CM aspirant<br /><br />KPCC chief said he was also one of the aspirants for the post of chief minister and accepted that there were many contenders. <br /><br />When asked whether he was confident of meeting the parameters for a chief minister set by the high command, Parameshwara said that for every Assembly tenure the parameters change. <br /><br />“This time the challenge for the new chief minister will be to give good governance and stable administration. If the party high command believes that I can meet the new parameters, I am in. However, let’s wait till the verdict is out,” he added.</p>
