With its chic and contemporary looks, Bebe, a US-based clothing brand, suits the fashion sensibilities of people from all walks of life. Be it day, sport, work, party or normal evening wear, the designs spell elegance and style. Designed for the confident, modern woman, ‘Bebe’ has already got people from the glamour industry hooked on to it and is now taking the City by storm.

For the confident and glamourous

One is truly spoilt for choice at Bebe. The latest collection has flattering fits and cuts, which can turn anyone into a glamourous diva. There is no ignoring the ‘Logo Collection’, which comprises of a series of colourful tees, jackets, track pants and jeans with the label imprinted on it. Apart from that, the latest trends the brand has is the ‘Pretty in Peplum’, ‘White Hot’ and ‘Safari Chic’. Roma Manjrekar, senior brand manager, says that there is something for every occasion in this collection. “That’s one of the highlights of the brand itself. Be it casual, formal or a party, one can find good fashionable clothing here,” she adds.

Apart from the tees and jeans, the dresses also stand out. The collection has a good variety  like social dresses, work wear dresses, tubular dresses, bandage dresses and day dresses. “Bandage dresses are very in these days. It’s basically a figure-hugging ‘bodycon’ dress, mainly striped, so that it looks like a bandage. This is apt for people who have the figure to carry it off,” she says while adding, “Many youngsters are going in for tubular dresses as well, which have interesting sleeves and necks.”

Roma also suggests that there is always a misconception that one can’t explore much with a working woman’s wardrobe. “It’s always nice to look good even at work. It gives you confidence and people too will take you seriously if you look the part. But that doesn’t mean you stick to the basic pants and shirt. One can also break the monotony and explore some of the work wear dresses that the brand houses,” she adds. And for those who are into bold prints, the ‘Safari Chic’ line is just the answer. “This line has a lot of exotic prints in fresh colours, which gives emphasis to detailing,” she says. While it’s the clothes that do all the talking at the brand, Bebe’s ‘White Hot’ line gives ample space for experimenting with accessories. “Since the collection is all white, one can try on some funky accessories to brighten the look this season. Of course, one must ensure not to go overboard,” she sums up.
