He was speaking here after visiting all the private, aided and government high schools, pre-university colleges here on Friday. He also visited the Government Pre-University College and Government First Grade College and reviewed the facilities in these colleges.
Acting Principal D C Ramakrishna updated the legislator about the problems in the college. He said that students were faced with problems and they feel that their future is at stake due to the OMR method implemented by the Bangalore University. In order to rectify this problem, the principal has to pay a fine to the tune of Rs 1 to Rs 5 lakh, the principal added.
There is a shortage of classrooms in the colleges located in the underdeveloped and border areas of the taluk and sought the legislator’s co-operation to construct new campuses.
Narayanaswamy promised to take needful measures after having a discussion with the officials concerned.
He advised the college staff to work for the welfare of the college and to take up activities which are useful for the students’ personality development. Lecturers Prabhakar, K M Nayaz Ahmed Rajashekar Reddy, Shivareddy were present.
