Last Updated 29 May 2013, 22:41 IST

Maoists struck again by killing another “Salwa Judum” leader in Chhattisgarh,  less than a week after their attack on a Congress convoy.

This time they targeted “Salwa Judum” leader and former Sarpanch of Erabor (Bastar), Soyam Mukka.
His body was found in the Asirguda village of Konta tehsil in Dantewada district near National Highway 30 on Wednesday.

Soyam Mukka was one of the four leaders who led a group of “Salwa Judum”  activists reconstituted under the banner of “Ma Danteshwari Swabhimani Adivasi Manch.”
Another outfit

This outfit was formed with the specific intent of targeting “Vanvasi Chetna Ashram,” which had organised a peace march across some two dozen villages that had been plundered and destroyed by “Salwa Judum.”

It was not sure whether he was also killed by the Maoists on May 25 and his body dumped on NH-30.
