M.Ch, DM courses launched

Minister for Medical Education Ramachandra Gowda, Chamarajpet constituency MLA BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan and Chief Nephrologist of the  Apollo Hospital in Chennai, Dr M K Mani, were some of the dignitaries who attended the event.

 Apart from this, the institution has also set up Renal Transplant Operation Theatre complex, Post Transplant ICU and Extra Corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy machine (ESWL).
The institute also announced that it had started renal transplant surgeries a few months ago and has performed five renal transplants.

With the ESWL machine, the hospital treats kidney stones without surgery and at an affordable price. The facility is said to be provided for the first time in the state.
