Eight people have sustained grievous injuries in the accident.
Anil Kumar (25) and his mother Vijayalakshmi (55) both residents of Kodigehalli near Bangalore, Latha (45), a High Court employee and Tejas (16) of Yelahanka satellite town, Bangalore are the deceased. Anil Kumar was married barely one-and-a-half months ago.
Lost control
One of the rear wheels of the bus had punctured and the vehicle was pushed to start it. However, as the driver lost control over the vehicle it started to move on the steep road in front of the temple.
All the victims are pedestrians. The driver of the bus has been arrested. The injured have been shifted to Nimhans and Victoria hospital in Bangalore.
