JOIN USServices Sports Control Board (SSCB), Hockey Jharkhand and Hockey Odisha won their respective league round matches in contrasting styles on Wednesday at the 3rd Hockey India Senior Men’s National Championship.
In a Group E match, SSCB notched up their third win in as many matches, outplaying Sports Authority of India (SAI) 6-1.
Hockey Jharkhand scored a resounding 12-2 win over Bengal Hockey Association with Diwakar Ram (6th, 14th, 37th) scoring a hat trick, while Hockey Odisha edged out Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) 3-2 in a close encounter.
Jharkhand and Odisha will lock horns on Thursday for a place in the last eight.
