<p>A 17-year old pre-university student was found hanging by a veil in the bedroom of her grandmother’s house in Siddapura on Wednesday afternoon.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Sangeetha, police said, was reportedly upset over her father Venkatesh Murthy’s objection to her working part-time. Murthy thought that working part-time disturbed Sangeetha’s studies. He even had an argument with her the previous night. Police suspect her father’s “rigid” stand might have driven Sangeetha to suicide. <br /><br />In the afternoon, the deceased went to her grandmother’s house at Venkata Reddy Layout, a few blocks away from her home, after her parents left for work. Her alleged suicide came to light in the evening when her uncle came calling. Siddapura police have registered a case of unnatural death.</p>
