Kuvempu Sandesha Bhavan to be developed soon

Speaking to Deccan Herald, he said suggestions have been invited from the local patrons regarding the development of the memorial. A committee has also been constituted under the chairmanship of MLA Jeevaraj.

An attractive circle will be constructed at Hirekodige junction on Koppa-Teerthahalli road and even an information board will be installed for the convenience of the tourists, he said.
Parking facility will be provided in the Sandesha Bhavan premises. The responsibility of routine works at the memorial will be given to the locals with the help of the Gram Panchayat, the DC said.

A fulfledged library will be arranged at the memorial. All important works of Kannada literature including the complete works of Kuvempu will be kept at this library, he said.
The botanical garden near the Sandesha Bhavan will be developed with the help of the Forest Department. A 12-acre park, and a dormitory with toilet facilities will be also established, Narayanaswamy said.
