Having enjoyed a day’s break in Birmingham following their eight-wicket win over Pakistan in their final Group ‘B’ encounter, the Indian squad arrived here on late Monday afternoon for their Champions Trophy semifinal contest scheduled on Thursday.

In tune with their routine on this trip, the Indians preferred not to train but they will resume practice on Tuesday afternoon. This, however, will be an optional session.

India finished their group stage with six points which saw them beat South Africa, West Indies and arch-rivals Pakistan. MS Dhoni and company are the only team in the tournament to have finished the group with an all-win record. As the toppers of Group ‘B’, India await the second-placed team from Group ‘A’ in their last-four match.
