Bandh disrupts life in Punjab

 
Commuters faced inconvenience at many places as rail and road traffic was disrupted. Schools and business establishments remained closed in several towns though banks and financial institutions functioned, with a thin attendance.

Several several trains originating from or passing through Amritsar were cancelled. However, there was no untoward incidents.
