Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has said that he will not indulge in hate politics. “I was forced to form KJP after I was shunned out of the BJP.”

Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday, he said, “I am not in favour of hate politics. However, I am satisfied that the KJP could garner 10 per cent of votes polled in the Assembly elections on May 5.”

“The final decison on third front is yet to be taken. Several leaders are in contact with me. Keeping in mind the interest of the country, the KJP will take a decision on its future move.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership is accepted by the whole country. At a time when there is economic instability in the country and political confusion, the KJP will take a decision on its move keeping in mind the interest of the country,” he added.

“Bihar Chief Minister Nithish Kumar has not taken a right decision by coming out of the NDA alliance,” he said and flayed Nithish Kumar for his statement on Modi. When Kumar could accept the leadership of Advani and Atal Behari Vajpayee, then why not Modi?” he asked.

Yeddyurappa has said that he will work towards strengthening the KJP in the State in the backdrop of forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

The State government should announce Rs 25 crore to the flood victims of Uttarkhand, he urged.
