Vijay takes the cup

The Kannada version of reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ has chosen its winner and the 100 days
of drama have come to an end. The grand finale, hosted by Sudeep, turned out to be rather dramatic –– with the choice being narrowed down to two: Vijay and Arun Sagar.

Actor Vijay Raghavendra walked away with the final prize after he beat the other three finalists –– Arun Sagar, Nikita Thukral and Narendra Babu Sharma.

The actor not only managed to stay in the house for 100 days with other contestants, but he also took part in all the tasks equally and charmed the viewers with his down-to-earth attitude. Currently, back home, the actor is spending much-deserved quality time with his family and friends. 

The finale was an entertaining one, with recaps of the various emotions of the house-inmates over the last 100 days.

Performances by former inmates upped the glamour of the elaborately planned evening. It was packed with dances and even interactions with the contestants’ families. Held for the first time in Kannada, ‘Bigg Boss’ did manage to capture the hearts of the audience. And now that Vijay is back home, it looks like it will take a while before one can spot him on the big screen again.
