After winning the toss and putting Joseph’s into bat, Ebenezer’s bowlers restricted them to 110/5 in 20 overs with only P Pais making a notable contribution of 41. Himanshu scored 53 to lead Ebenezer’s chase as they replied with 111/4 in 18.4 overs.
In another under-16 match, St John’s High School defeated Baldwin Boys High School by eight runs.
St John’s defending a lowly 92 bowled out Baldwin Boys to 84 in 19.1 overs riding on bowling efforts from Yeshwant (2/5), Abhishek (2/14) and Tharang (2/20).
