<p>Hyderabad-based Akhil Khushlani of Meco Euro International Racing team completed a rare hat-trick of wins in the Formula BMW India series in the JK Tyre National Racing Open Championship at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam near here on Sunday.</p>.<p> <br /><br />Veteran city driver Sarosh Hataria also scored a double in the Formula LBG 4 class. After winning the second race, Sarosh came up with a clean start and never looked back before crossing the finish line. <br /><br />Akhil showcased great determination and skills to prove his mettle. Akhil finished the race 14.260 seconds ahead of Chitesh Sachin Mandody of Kholapur (Maharashtra) and a further 3.216 seconds ahead of third-placed Akhil Rubindra of Bangalore. <br /><br />Akhil returned a best lap time of 1:05.919 seconds. <br /><br />Kini suspended<br /><br />Meanwhile, Bangalore-based Ajay Kini was suspended for a month and his licence withdrawn for “bumping from behind” seasoned driver Sharan Vikram’s car.<br /></p>
