Cab driver killed in accident

A cab driver was killed when he rammed his car into a stationary goods auto on Hosur Road near Garebhavipalya in the wee hours of Friday.

The deceased, identified as Puttaswamy, hailed from Channapatna. According to the police, the goods auto was found parked in the middle of the road as its tyre had deflated.

It is said that the driver of the vehicle had gone out to fix the problem, when, Puttaswamy rammed his car into the auto from behind. He sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, immediately. However, he was declared brought dead. Madiwala Traffic police have registered a case.
