Addressing reporters, he said the State had been badly hit by the global economic slowdown. At this juncture, mobilising resources for developmental works should be the priority. Imposition of the toll on mining trucks will fetch a decent revenue. The Government, therefore, must go ahead with the toll proposal, he pointed.

In the aftermath of the political crisis in the BJP, the Reddys have emerged stronger. CM Yeddyurappa by yielding to their demands, has given a license to them to loot iron ore in the State. The Reddys, with the help of BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, will dictate terms on every aspect of administration in future, rendering Yeddyurappa a dummy CM, he alleged.

The BJP, he demanded, should disclose what actually is their compromise formula saying people have the right to know. “We will not allow the BJP to run the Government as per its whims and fancies. Senior officers are being treated like a footballs by transferring them frequently. The Government must explain their decisions,” he stated.
