Charlie Hunnam, Dakota Johnson in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'?

Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam are the latest names doing the rounds to play Anastasia Steel and Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of E L James erotic novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.

The project is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and is slated to hit theaters in August of next year, but the makers are yet to announce the cast.

From Emma Watson to Sam's husband, Aaron Johnson-Taylor, many famous names have been touted as the probable candidates. Johnson and Hunnam are the latest celebrities to be named in the probables list, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Dakota, 23, is the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. She's appeared in 'The Social Network' and 'The Five-Year Engagement' whereas Hunnam, 33,  most recently starred in 'Pacific Rim'.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' is slated to hit  theaters in August 2014.
