<p>Amsterdam/New Delhi, pti: ING, on Wednesday, reported €499 million profit for the third quarter, as against a net loss of €478 million, it said.<br /><br />The insurance business has witnessed a strong growth. America was the best performer with a profit of €182 million from a loss of €83 million, followed by Europe where net profit jumped to €157 million from €47 million in the year-ago period.</p>
