<p> The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has banned Umesh, an associate director, for a year for sending obscene messages to actor Ragini Dwivedi.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Umesh confessed to sending the messages and apologised to Ragini and the chamber at a meeting chaired by the KFCC president, Vijayakumar, on Wednesday.<br /><br />The actor had requested the Central Crime Branch (CCB) to trace the number from which the message was sent to her. The CCB traced to Umesh.</p>
