ITC , RP Group to manage hotels in India, Dubai

 Diversified conglomerate ITC on Monday said it has tied up with RP Group Hotels & Resorts to manage five hotels in India and Dubai.

As part of an agreement with the RP Group, which has varied business interests in the Middle East, ITC Hotels will manage the properties under 5-star ‘WelcomHotel’ and mid-market to upscale Fortune brands.

While the two WelcomHotels are already under a management contract and will be flagged off immediately, the three Fortune hotels are a part of the signed MOU and will be launched subsequently, the company said in a statement.

Two five-star properties are in Kerala — WelcomHotel Raviz Kollam and WelcomHotel Raviz Kadavu.

Another property, Fortune Raviz Calicut is on the anvil along with two Fortune Raviz hotels in Dubai, it added.

As part of its expansion, ITC Hotels plans to add several managed hotels to its brand portfolio.
