<p>The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Bhavan) has launched its first free computer learning centre for the underprivileged in the State. The facility will function from its Bangalore centre.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The centre offers training in Desktop Publishing, Hardware Maintenance, Office Assistant and Account Assistant.<br /><br />In addition, training will be imparted in communication skills, soft skills, and interpersonal relations for personality development.<br /><br />The courses will be of three-month duration and classes will be conducted for two hours thrice a week. The classes will begin on October 1.<br /><br />Candidates from low income group, in the age group of 18 to 35 years with a pass in class XII (pre-university course) are eligible to seek admissions. They will have to pass a basic aptitude test.</p>
