JOIN USEMC on Monday revealed that 91 per cent of Indian CIOs feel that Big Data will lead to better decision-making, says a survey conducted by the company among 309 companies.
“In India, big data is giving rise to markedly improved decision making and is having a significant impact on companies’ competitive differentiation and ability to avert risk,” EMC India & SAARC President Rajesh Janey said.
EMC also found that 68 per cent of respondents believe that big data will be a key factor in determining winners and losers in their industry and 35 per cent have already achieved a competitive advantage as a result of big data analytics technology.
He added that 89 per cent of respondents agree that data center automation will be crucial to innovation and agility.
