The technology — called Artemis — has a gamut of data about reliable and unreliable software applications, offering endpoint devices the intelligence to clearly identify malware or other harmful programmes. Jeff Green, Senior Vice President, McAfee Avert Lab, said it is available with all McAfee offerings and is for free.
It says real-time protection to endpoint devices are becoming relevant, given the increase in malware attacks in India.
