508 houses to be built in Pavagad

Speaking at a meet on underground drainage schemes here, the minister said, the people of SC/ST community should deposit Rs 12,500 and others, Rs 18,000 before December 15.

Names of those who have not deposited the amount will be removed from the list of the beneficiaries and those who have not got the houses in the first phase would be allotted houses in the next phase.

He said, Gollarahatti will be developed into a  model village with all the basic facilities.
Chief Engineer of the Slum Clearance Board Sannachittappa said, the Union government has announced special housing scheme for 2010 and under the present scheme, beneficiaries have been identified for 248 houses in A K colony, 100 houses in Bhovi colony, 144 houses in Nayaka colony and 16 houses to be built in A, D colony.

Town Municipal Council Veena Anjanakumar, G S Dharmapal, A Shankarareddy, Slum Clearance Board engineers, TMC CEO Srinivas and TMC members were present on the occasion.
