Church vandalised

Vasanthkumar, the priest at the church told reporters that the attack must have taken place late Tuesday as the damage was noticed on Wednesday.

“It looks like a deliberate act of desecration as nothing was stolen,” Vasanthkumar said.
He said the cross on top of the church, the main door and windows have been damaged. The police visited the church and registered a case based on the complaint lodged by the priest.

Superintendent of Police Satish Kumar, ASP P Thaygrajan visited the spot. No arrests have been made so far. A case has been lodged at Humnabad town police station. Investigations are on.
